A really neat race. It was held on a .7 mile oval loop around a small metro park. The course was safe and fast. It was totally flat with no corners. We raced 40 laps. Woody and I had lots of fun today in the 4/5s. We raced aggressively and were each in 6 or 7 breaks, including back to back long solo efforts late in the race. But in the end, we had little to show for it. Nothing stayed away. The race ended in a field sprint. Woody took home $15 for 5th and a fancy Bell hat and bar tape he won in a prime. I missed my prime shot by one rider and got boxed in for 9th in the sprint.
